Trail Run will be going up Wolverine Canyon.
Directions to Wolverine:
From Palmer Carrs intersection at Glenn and Palmer-Wasilla Hwy, Turn East on Glenn Hwy (as if going toward Sutton), Turn Right on Arctic Way (it turns into the Old Glenn). You will cross the Matanuska River and go another 1/2 mile.
Turn Left onto Clark-Wolverine Road. At the "T" intersection, turn Left on Clark-Wolverine. Go another 2-3 miles. The road will split, so take the 90 degree turn to the left (instead of going straight). After another 1-2 miles, you will get to some open hay fields. Keep going. The road will go down into a deep canyon and back out. Keep going. You have another 2 miles when you come out of the canyon. Park on the left at 10366 with the black mailbox and log house with red roof (Lorene's house). We will leave from there.

Total distance from Old Glenn to Lorene's house is just under 8 miles.

I groomed the trail last night and conditions look fantastic!

We had a great run/hike last night up Wolverine Canyon. A few of us made it all the way to Wolverine Creek (and then back out). There were seven women all together, and we are ready for some hill training!

Wow, sorry I missed it! I figured the trails would be super soft with the warm temps we've had. Looks like I missed out!
